The Shenendehowa Universal Pre-Kindergarten Lottery Application (2026-27) is now open and will close on Monday, 5/11/26 at 8am. To those who enter the lottery, selection letters and waitlist letters will be sent via email in late May or early June.

Join us on Friday, April 24th at High School East from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. With over 90 incredible exhibits, there is something for everyone, including robotics, chemistry experiments, birds of prey, and puppies in training.

In a landmark decision for the Shenendehowa Central School District, the Board of Education has officially appointed Dr. Cecily Wilson-Turner as the district’s next Superintendent of Schools. The appointment, confirmed at the March 24 board meeting, marks a historic turning point as Dr. Wilson-Turner becomes the first woman to lead the district since its inception.

Petitions must be received by the district clerk no later than 5 p.m. on April 20, 2026. To qualify, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of the district for at least one year prior to the election, and at least 18 years old.

Rock Travis' DDE students visited the Department of Environment & Sustainable Engineering and College of Nanotechnology at SUNY Albany on Wednesday March 25th. They saw demonstrations of sustainability efforts as well a tour of a nanotech research center.

To conclude the 6th Grade Health course, students contribute to a 'Wall of Wins' to celebrate their personal progress.

The High School Odyssey of the Mind club had two teams compete at the Regional Competition. Team 4 placed 2nd in the Balsa structure problem and Team 1 placed 1st in the vehicle problem and will be advancing on to the State Competition in Syracuse on March 21st.
